La Verne cafe offers henna art workshop - Campus Times

Nambah Coffee on D Street held its first henna and wine night last Friday featuring henna artist Tyler Morgan.

About 20 people attended the event, which cost $20 and included one drink and henna art supplies for DIY temporary tattoos. 
Morgan taught participants how to work with the natural dye. Using a practice sheet, they traced patterns, including arcs, paisleys, snails and petals.

People gathered Sunday to shop at Claremont Farmers and Artisan market, which takes up two blocks on Harvard Avenue in the Claremont village.

The W. Keith and Janet Kellogg University Art Gallery at Cal Poly Pomona is hosting “Ink and Clay.” An annual exhibition and competition showcasing drawing, ceramic, installation and mixed media art, which uses ink and or clay, and also includes symbols, text and words in some way.

For the start of the Halloween season, Cal Poly Pomona AGRIscapes Discovery Farm hosted its annual Pumpkin Fest. 
On Saturday kids of all ages gathered to enjoy quality time with one another at the event to honor Halloween season and the start of fall.
